App design/prototyping
Wokewave started with a simple idea:
language evolves, and so should our awareness of it.
The app empowers users to submit updates on terms or phrases that are no longer considered politically appropriate.
Initial sketches & functionality brainstorm:
Wire-frames
Through feedback, I refined the user interface to be both inviting and straightforward, making it easy for anyone to join the discussion. Wokewave represents my belief that informed dialogue around language can foster understanding and respect in our communities. It’s more than just an app; it’s a platform for growth and awareness.
The journey started with brainstorming ideas and mapping out the app's functionality. I focused on wireframing to outline the user experience, ensuring that every interaction felt intuitive and meaningful. The design process emphasized clarity and accessibility, allowing users to easily submit updates and explore language changes
High fidelity prototype:
There is a display problem with Figma prototype sharing and squarespace that I haven’t solved yet. But it still shows the basic functionality of the workflow.
